Featured in a London show.

My thanks to Marianne Marshall for the photo.

One of my polar bear pictures was a part of a brief February exhibition in London’s Kensington. The show was part of Latymer Upper School’s 400th birthday celebration, and consisted of works by former pupils. I’m proud to have been invited to participate.

On tour in England

My picture of the Grand Tetons (one of the 80 chosen by the Royal Photographic Society to represent its 10,000 members) will, I am told by the RPS, be touring with the exhibition. Its first destination is Weston-super-Mare. I’ve never been there; I wonder how much there is to boast about the town where Banksy chose to stage his temporary installation “Dismaland,” a satyrical spoof on a dystopian theme park in 2015? But I’m not complaining . . . . .

New street photographs

For the sake of variety, I’ve switched out two-thirds of the pictures on my 2000-2019 street photography page. Also, in keeping with my general policy of not publishing street photos until they are at least five years old, and considering that 2024 is almost upon us, all of the new pictures were taken before 2020. They are mostly previously unpublished and I hope you enjoy them. Click here.

I’ve also made several other structural improvements to the site, especially the “about me” material. Thanks for checking it out.

And, finally, just for kicks, I tried out Squarespace’s new AI text generating module. You can see the results here.
